Create elegant impressions/textures with this mat. This open-design, stencil-type impression mat allows the pattern to be created in a contrasting color.

Roll out fondant to cover the cake. Lightly grease the mat or LIGHTLY spray with cooking oil spray and place on top of fondant. Lay impression mat greased-side down on the fondant. Roll firmly over the top impressing the mat into the fondant. 

For additional effect, brush dusting powder or airbrush over the mat.
 
Gently lift mat off fondant and place on cake. 

More step-by step instructions included with mat.

This type of mat (with open design) can also be used as a stencil for airbrushing.
