To help you judge the size of the mold cavities, standard-sized molds (those costing $2.85) usually have outer dimensions of approximately 7 1/4" width x 9 1/2" length. Molds costing $5.70 are usually approximately twice that size. The maximum temperature these molds will withstand is 375 ° F. All sucker molds will accommodate pencil pop sucker sticks unless otherwise noted in the description (some photos have not yet been updated to show the impression for the pencil pop sucker stick). Use these pencil pop sucker sticks and a decorated pencil for the sucker stick. Some photos of molds may be slightly distorted due to their position next to the fold in the manufacturer's catalog. Hint: Use your browser's "Find" feature (Internet Explorer under the Edit menu; Netscape under the Search) to help you locate a particular item on any web page. Just type in the word you're looking for and if it's on that page, you will be taken directly to the first item with that word. Click "Find" again to go to the next item with that word . To Use For Hard Candy: To use these molds with hard candy, first spray the mold cavities and a Candy Funnel (including stopper) with cooking spray. Prepare your favorite hard candy recipe or use our Hard Candy Mix. Pour the hot candy syrup into the prepared funnel with stopper covering hole. Slightly lift stopper to let proper amount of hot syrup flow into sprayed cavities of mold. If making hard candy suckers, immediately put stick in place before syrup begins to set up. Let cool at room temperature. When syrup cools and candy is hard. release candy from mold. To Use For Cookies: To use these molds for cookie baking, make a good roll-out cookie dough. Spray the hard candy mold cavities with cookie spray. Push the cookie dough into the mold cavities and place cookie-filled molds on an aluminum cookie sheet. Bake on top rack at 325º F. for 8-10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing cookies from mold. These molds may also be used with chocolate/candy coatings; however, the candy pieces will not be as shiny as when prepared in a chocolate mold Please note that candy molds may often overlap categories and a mold may be listed only under one possible category. For instance, a dove mold may only be listed under bird molds but could be used for a Wedding. If you do not find the mold you are looking for, be sure to check other categories or be sure to Search Our Product Database.
