One set of Kolor Kartridges will print approximately 15-20 large Frosting Sheets or 30-40 small Frosting Sheets.

Printers with the Kopyjet Systems that include printers have a choice of two resolutions, 360 dpi or 720 dpi.

*As of April, 1999, the Microtek X6 Scanner with 600 x 1200 dpi resolution was shipped with the Kopyjet Systems that include scanners.

Special Notes Regarding Ports

When using Canon printers 2000, 4400, or 4550, you may plug any of these printers into the "printer port" on the back of the scanner. This allows you to use only 1 parallel port for both your scanner and your printer.

For optimum performance, in all cases it is best to have separate ports for your scanner and your printer. (USB scanner is recommended.)

The Canon 5000 (one of the large printers) requires its own parallel port and cannot be connected through the scanner as with the above mentioned printers.You cannot use the A/B Switchbox to connect the Canon 5000.

If you are using a USB or SCSI port for your scanner, then a single parallel port is all that is required because you will use this port for your printer.
