These are lightweight, durable plastic pans that can be used exactly like
aluminum pans in a conventional oven as well as in a microwave. Each pan is
designed to hold approximately 1 standard cake mix.
These pans can be used many times with reasonable care. They are not,
however, designed to last forever.
Microwave: Follow the directions on the cake mix box. If you don't have
a turntable in your microwave, turn the cake every 2 minutes. Remember the
wattage for different microwave ovens vary--ones with higher wattage will
require less cooking time. Cool cake 3 minutes before removing from pan.
Conventional Oven: Follow the cake mix or recipe instructions. Bake cakes at
325 degrees F for best results. Set Pantastic Pan on shiny
baking sheet when baking. Cool cake 5 minutes in pan. Release from pan and
finish cooling on a rack or towel.
Decorating Ideas--The details inside the pan can be molded in candy coating
for use in decorating your cake. Pour melted coating into any part of the pan
you wish to use. Let the candy set up in the freezer. Unmold candy and place on
cake.
