This life-sized cake sculpture of
Wayne Gretzky, The Great One, was created for a large food and beverage
show in Canada, which had over 100,000 people in attendance. The
sculpture was created from pound cake and buttercream icing. The "ice"
underneath was also pound cake. The cake had over 3,000 servings.
The life-sized cake sculptures of
Michu and Julianna, the little people with Ringling Bros. Circus was
created for their wedding held at Madison Square Garden in New York
City. Michu, 33" high, and Juliana, 37" tall, were made of pound cake
and buttercream icing and were delivered personally by Roland to the
reception. This cake was featured in the New
York Times and Post and
received worldwide publicity.
This life-sized cake sculpture of
Marilyn Monroe was created freehand from pound cake and buttercream
icing for a food show in Canada. Marilyn was the hit of the show and was
featured in several national publications including the Globeˆ,
the Sun and
some international newspapers. This cake was approximately 500 servings
and took between one and two weeks to create from scratch, with most of
the time used to build the custom-made stand.
This 6 1/2 foot long tiger cake had
nearly 3,000 servings of cake and buttercream icing for the 40th
birthday of Gunther Gable Williams of Ringling Bros. Circus fame. The
cake was presented to him at a performance of the circus in Seattle,
Washington, and was featured in their official program following the
presentation.
