Custom Candy Molds For Candy Making
We make custom chocolate molds in just about any size and shape, but we reserve the right to make suggestions as to what will work the best if the art is questionable.The pricing structure goes something like this:
- For most geometric shapes (round, square, rectangle, oval, etc.) with the graphics raised on top, the tooling fee is $300.00 for 1/4" deep or more if over 1/4" deep.
- Designs requiring the services of a sculptor or having an irregular outside profile will have to be quoted separately.
- We put as many cavities on the mold as we can. This varies with the size and depth of the cavities. The standard sheet size for the cavities is 7 1/4" x 9 1/2". The price of the molds is $4.50 each for less than 30 and $3.50 each for 30 or more plus the tooling fee, and any art fee (sculptor or conversion of file type).
- We require that the all work be prepaid and can be sent with the black and white camera-ready art. We cannot work from faxed art but can use art sent via e-mail as attached files. Files in vector format as EPS or AI files work best; but often .tif or .jpg formats will work also but may incur an art fee--usually around $50.00.
- Turnaround time is generally 2-3 weeks after payment is received (if paid by check, time begins after check has cleared bank).
